For most of my career I was the person behind the curtain — the one building the presentations, designing the systems, and making other people look good on stage.
Nearly 20 years in eLearning and presentations. IBM-certified. Director of Tech. Director of Education. I helped build two seven-figure companies over eight years — and I was good at it.
But at some point I looked up and realized I was doing for everyone else exactly what I hadn't done for myself. I was chasing clients. Grinding for referrals. Wondering why the expertise I'd spent two decades building wasn't doing more of the work.
I knew what the problem was. It wasn't the expertise. It was the infrastructure.
